THIS MONUMENT IS RAISED TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THE YOUTH AND MANHOOD OF THE PARISH OF KIRRIEMUIR, WHO FELL IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR.
